Teaching is an extremely important part of my academic career. I believe that to be a great teacher knowing the subject well is not enough. Relating this knowledge in an understandable manner and having high expectations for students are necessary components as well. Making connections between textbook knowledge and current research is also important in maintaining high interests in the classroom. Teaching is a privilege!
